    I hear it rarely, but have also heard it in my mustangs as a high load/low rpm/highgear situation. And have seen it in other cars before downshift, or lugging on a hill in too high a gear. What little it presents, I am not worried about negative results. It could be that some ping is acceptable...

    Stillen has been around a long time. Firstly in mini truck parts in the 80's. That being said, there ar ebetter options.
